Day 1:
Arrival Johannesburg - Ngala Private Game Reserve
On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, please proceed to the Information Desk where you will be met by a Federal Air representative and transferred to their Departure Terminal.
Board your two hour, scheduled charter Federal Air charter flight to Ngala Game Reserve. Flights depart at 09h30, 11h30, 13h30.
On arrival you will be met by Ngala staff and transferred to the tented Safari Camp.
In the late afternoon, depart on a game viewing safari.
Accompanied by a professional game ranger and tracker in open top four-wheel drive safari vehicles, the chances are excellent that you will encounter lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo, cheetah and many other species of game in their natural habitat. The vehicles go off the road, when necessary, to afford you the best possible viewing. The safari continues on into the dark when spotlights are used to follow the game. As most of the predators are nocturnal, this is the best time for viewing some animal hunts.
Ngala, meaning "lion" in Shangaan, has exclusive traversing rights over 14 780 hectares (36 506 acres) of Kruger's two million hectares (4 940 000 acres), one of the richest and most strategically important wildlife areas on the continent. When you enter Ngala Game Lodge, you encounter a world capturing the romance and elegant traditions of a bygone time, the era of the classic safari. The lodge is set on the banks of the Mapone riverbed and features antique-filled interiors and a timeless, unhurried atmosphere, beautifully luxurious with excellent cuisine.

Deluxe Tented Suites: Set on the banks of the great seasonal Timbavati River, Ngala Tented Safari Camp was built with a light footprint to minimise impact on the environment. This exclusive camp offers six deluxe tented safari suites featuring baths, twin hand basins, separate w.c., outdoor showers, overhead fans and wooden decks.
Guest Areas: Guest areas feature retro pieces from the 50s, 60s and 70s and beautiful timber decks which overlook the seasonal riverbed. Rated in numerous prestigious listings such as the US Conde Nast Traveler's “Hot List”, it is a gracious camp with a contemporary feel and flamboyant styling. A lap pool merges with the contours of the riverbank for laid-back game viewing.
Day 2 & 3:
You can enjoy excellent game viewing encounters on our twice daily game drives in open Land Rovers, both off-road and night game drives. Ngala offers prime sightings of big five game as well as numerous other species.
On exciting night drives you will see nocturnal animals, adding a dramatic dimension to your safari. Knowledgeable guides and trackers will lead you on guided nature walks through the heart of the bush, revealing some of nature's most closely guarded secrets. You will have a chance to experience the African bushveld close-up as you tread past intriguing plants and spy more elusive, smaller creatures such as birds, reptiles, insects and tiny mammals.
Day 4:
After a final safari and breakfast, you are transferred to Ngala Airstrip for your Federal Air flight to Johannesburg.

3 Night Romantic Safari
Day 1: Johannesburg - Hoedspruit
Check in for your 1 hour flight to Hoedspruit.
On arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, you will be collected and transferred to Honeyguide - approx. 1.5 hours.
3 nights Honeyguide Tented Camp, full board including game activities
Your accommodation is exclusive tented-suites, which offer the nature lover a close encounter with the sounds and ambience of wild Africa without sacrificing safety or comfort. The large en-suite tents are comfortably furnished in a contemporary yet comfortable style and have either twin or double beds made up with fine cotton sheets and down duvets. Each tent has a double shower and separate toilets. The private veranda in front of the tent provides a restful seating area for you to absorb the atmosphere in peace.
Day 2 & 3: Honeyguide Tented Camp
Honeyguide Tented Safari Camp is situated on the border of the Kruger National Park in prime Big Five Country - the beautiful and unexploited 23000 hectare Manyeleti Game reserve.
Offering eco-safaris, this vast private concession area may be explored in open game viewing vehicles, or on foot under the guidance of armed and experienced guides.
Guests wake each morning to the sound of beating drums. Following early morning refreshments served in the tents, activities at Honeyguide include game drives in open game viewing vehicles in the early morning and late afternoon or evening.
The morning drive is followed by a sumptuous breakfast, after which guests can relax at the pool, participate in a short foot safari with one of the guides or view passing game from the hide at the waterhole next to the camp.
Lunch is served mid-afternoon and dinner is served in the boma after the evening game drive.
Dinner comprises a 3-course meal with a choice of main courses, served next to a campfire in the open-air boma. Guests dine around one large table, ensuring a lively discussion of the day's sightings and experiences.
At Honeyguide you will capture the memory of a bygone era, filled with adventure and romance, where one may rediscover Hemingway's Africa.
Day 4: Honeyguide - Hoedspruit - Johannesburg
You will be collected this morning for transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg.
