After arrival on the first day, you will have the opportunity to spend some time in the cultural village and enjoyed learning about the Zulu culture (we may be able to incorporate some cultural wedding lessons)
The next day you will transfer to the honeymoon suite and the bridal couple will have a leisure day to rest and relax. Later in the afternoon the bride will be collected by singing Zulu maiden all looking absolutely amazing in full traditional dress. They will take the bride to the traditional ox-wagon which will be used to transport the bride to her groom waiting on a not too distance hill.
The ceremony will be sited under two acacia trees, which form a natural arch formation behind the proceedings. You may choose to have a traditional part of the ceremony with singing and dancing maidens and warriors, followed by the Westernised ceremony. Or you may only choose to have the Westernised ceremony. As the sun is setting behind the hills, the champagne corks will be popped and you will celebrate your unique African union.
Later you will make your way back down the hill escorted into the lodge by Zulu warriors with flaming torches - a most magnificent sight, and signed the register with only the torches for light and the bon-fire flaming high into the darkness…
Dinner will be set-up in total privacy alongside the river, complete with your own private "butler" who will present you with each of your four courses. The only light will be flaming torches and candlelight, the only sounds ………Africa - romance at its best and really hard to beat!
