The famous Boulders and Windmill Beaches are situated at the largest mainland African Penguin Colony in Southern Africa, just 10 Kilometres from the Cape Point Nature Reserve.
This area is part of the Cape Peninsula National Park. Almost 3000 African (jackass) penguins, so called because their call resembles the bray of a donkey, reign supreme amidst rounded rocks and fish-filled False Bay. These endangered, flightless birds are free to roam the seas and return to their private haven - Foxy Beach at Boulders. Boulders, obtained its name from a cluster of large granite boulders breaking the coastline, providing numerous sheltered coves and reefs.
If you would like to share your special wedding ceremony with the penguins and set in these amazing surroundings then this package is the obvious choice.
You will be collected from your Hotel and driven to Windmill Beach for the ceremony. After the exchange of vows and photographs you will have the chance to walk over to Boulders beach for some interaction with the penguins.
You will have a choice to remain on the beach to enjoy a magnificent Deluxe beach picnic or your limousine will be waiting to escort you back to Cape Town via the scenic Chapman's Peak with Champagne served en route. We will book lunch at a superb Cape restaurant - a 5 course meal with wines served to compliment each course. In this way you will get to experience the best of an informal ceremony on the beach, followed by superb luxury and indulgence…truly a day to remember!
