Co-founder and director brought her previous eleven years of experience in South African based marketing, events co-ordination and corporate promotions. Noreen’s portfolio covered aspects such as company and product launches. In addition to event management and travel related work. She was involved in organizing South African trips for international and national corporate clients.
The most memorable of her travel industry experience was working with Kingsley Holgate and his team on the African Expeditions and Experiences. It therefore seemed like a natural evolution for Noreen to go into partnership with Karen. She could utilise all her skills in one unique portfolio. Accordingly Timeless Weddings Company was born in 2002. It continues to provide world class weddings and event co-ordination in South Africa.
With over 20 years of work in the Wedding and Events industry she has built up a tremendous portfolio of venues and suppliers, which continues to evolve as businesses change. This enables her to source the best deals, amazing venues and the premium suppliers for all clients.
I love seeing it all come together on the actual day after months and sometimes years of careful planning. All the little aspects that have been planned individually eventually amalgamate to create a very special event. Finally this creates lasting memories for our clients…that makes it all worthwhile!
Karen Noon – your European contact
Founder and Director recognized the need for a flexible, creative and personalized wedding consultancy within South Africa after her own wedding in Cape Town back in 2001. So in partnership with Noreen they set up Timeless Weddings Company, South Africa with the vision that they could provide clients with excellent local knowledge, a friendly service and the most cost effective but creative solution available.
Karen is based in Europe and Cape Town and liaises with European based clients. She is able to offer one to one contact and an exceptional understanding of what it feels like to organize a long distance event or wedding.
Having travelled extensively over the years, she is sympathetic to clients needs and well versed in what people are looking for when selecting long haul destinations. Moreover she recognized when setting up Timeless Weddings that there were growing numbers of expats who still wanted to get married in the country of origin. And they required personalized assistance and on the ground help to achieve the dream day.
As a freelance IT Consultant and Project manager with a background in Finance, Karen brought with her, her in-depth knowledge of commerce, information technology and business systems. As well as her natural ability to organize and manage large or small events. In addition to this she also has an interior design qualification. As a result she is able to assist her clients with their design and décor ideas. In addition she is able to ensure that each wedding or event is crafted to make a unique and personal statement.
The great thing about working in this industry is the very personal nature of what we do. It is about getting to understand a client’s wants and needs, and interpreting them into something tangible, unforgettable and flawless.

Colleen is based in the Cape Province and will provide Timeless Weddings Cape clients with total care and attention. First and foremost Colleen has an intimate knowledge of the Cape. She has resided here for many years. Colleen is able to point out “lesser” known jewels and venues of the area.
Having run her own successful business for many years, she provides excellent design and co-ordination experience. Above all she is renown for her cool and calm manner in stressful situations. Therefore ensuring all that Timeless Weddings Company clients can sit back, relax, and allow her to take care of all the small planning details.
